Barney McCaffrey is a founding member of CHCR and its longest serving board member.

He is director of Studio W, the Wilno branch recording studio, and a strong proponenet of thew original idea of CHCR as a network of small local studios producing local programming, which Internet broadcasting will eventually bring together.

He has produced over 120 pre-recorded programs of Valley Voices - interviews with local elders, artists, musicians and visitors and spoken word events of poetry and storytelling - and the same number of Overturning Tables in conjunction with the Marguerite Centre of Pembroke, programs dealing with Christian Social Justice and Spirituality. He currently serves as CHCR's Treasurer and Sponsor rep.
