SHOW: SHAKIN' THE TREE
TIME: THURSDAYS 7 PM - 11 PM

The Shaker grew up in the sixties and remains there to this very day. Shakin' the Tree offers a great mix of Blues, Rock and middle of the road music from the 50s through the 80s and sometimes the 90s.... but that's pushing it.

Shakin' the Tree comes to you live every Thursday from 7 pm to 11 pm and re-broadcasted at different times during the week, so check the schedule and enjoy

Bio: The Shaker was born in Hull Québec about 4 years after the end of the 2nd World War. Yup, he's that old. He's lived in Gatineau, Hammond, Deep River, Rockland and Orléans all within the Ottawa Valley. Then this bilingual guy grew up... or did he?. Played bass guitar in a few bands from '65 to '71. He then sold his equipment for a train ticket and a summer of adventure working on a wheat farm in Elbow Sask.

Life got serious when he returned... but avoided it with great success. Eventually, he GOT A JOB, met the love of his life, married, fathered a son and lived happily ever after

Post Script: still married, still a father and still working... but he gets to play his old records and CDs on his own radio show right here on CHCR, Canadian Homegrown Community Radio, 102.9 FM in Killaloe and 104.5 FM in Wilno and beyond... and now, streaming WORLD WIDE on the web at www.chcr.org Can it get better than that!!!
